Show the command argument in Tmux status-line
This is the relevant fragment of my Tmux configuration file.
set -g automatic-rename on
set -g automatic-rename-format "#{pane_current_command}"
set -g window-status-format "#I:#W"
set -g window-status-current-format "#I:#W"
With that, each window is represented by "{index}:{current_pane_command}" in the status-line. This is quite useful to know which window to jump to with Prefix+Number, except when, for example, two windows are displaying man-pages, since then both windows are listed as "{index}:man".
Can I configure Tmux such that the window name also includes the first argument (if any) to the command? In that case, the line would show
1:top|2:man sh|3:man tmux
