“NVIDIA driver 461.09 is known to have some issues with DaVinci Resolve”

I use Windows 10. After I clicked to open DaVinci Resolve 17, I got this Warning.

GPU Configuration Warning - NVIDIA driver 461.09 is known to have some issues with DaVinci Resolve

Then I tried Chris' Tutorials, but GeForce Experience turned out barren to me and lacks all those features shown in the YouTube video.

GeForce Experience with no options

Edit this post if you know which, but another YouTube video recommended unticking my NVIDIA GeForce as follows.

GPU configuration - untick the existing videocard

But when I clicked "Save", I got another Error!

Set GPU selection mode to Auto or select at least one GPU

Simply update your Nvidia graphics card driver. The latest stable version currently is 471.11. It can be done in the following way:

  • Go to https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx and click "search", let the site pick the appropriate gfx card and Windows version.
  • Download and execute the executable and follow the instructions on screen. (Basically just click Yes/OK til done)
  • It is usually recommended to do a "clean installation", meaning that the old version gets uninstalled first. From what I remember you are given this option during installation.
  • When the installation is done, reboot your computer.
