How to disable email grouping (in conversation) in Gmail web mail for certain senders?

I have just realized that I have overlooked some important e-mails due to Gmail's automatic e-mail grouping in conversations.

Typically, this is a pretty useful feature to reduce the count, but some senders are not aware of this and send very similar e-mails (same sender, same subject) despite having different content (e.g. an invoice related e-mail for this month is not actually a reply for a similar e-mail last month).

Grouping in older threads might lead to losing some e-mails since they appear in older conversations.

This has been discussed in this thread, but the only solution seems to be disabling the functionality for all senders.

Is there any way to disable it only for some senders?

As of June 2023, Gmail still doesn't offer a built-in way to disable the conversation view for specific senders. Knowing about this limitation, you should carefully review your inbox.

If you influence your contacts, you could educate them about good email communication practices, but still, there are chances that this situation will occur. To avoid this happening again, you might want either to extend the Gmail features by using, Google Apps Script, the Gmail API or a third-party tool that uses it or to use another email client.
