Are there any free video recording apps for the iPhone which have a pause function?
I want to be able to pause and resume my recording, so that the footage before and after the pause becomes part of the same video file. I am only looking for apps which are free of charge (gratis).
It seems strange that although the iPhone is considered to have a very advanced camera, is sold at a very high price point and is a very mature product, it still does not have the ability to pause recordings.
Currently, my options are:
* Film a long video and cut out the unwanted parts. This wastes disk space and battery power.
* Film several short videos and combine them later. I want to avoid this extra step.
I am using an iPhone 13 with iOS 15.
