Auto-delete Firefox cookies for just one website

Firefox "Settings" offers a checkbox for "delete cookies and site data when Firefox is logged off."

Is there a way to configure Firefox to have the cookies for one specific site deleted when Firefox is logged off while preserving cookies for other sites?

If so, how can this be done?

The easy solution is to always open that one site in private mode (Options -> New Private Window) and then browse that site from there. It means that any new tabs you open will get the cookies etc deleted too. Any particular reason why that wouldn't work?

That would certainly ensure that the cookies are deleted at the end of the session, but what I'm hoping for is a way to set it up automatically, so I don't have to think about setting up a private window every time.

I've spoken to at least one person who seems to think that Firefox doesn't have settings for what I want but that there might be a browser extension that can do it. I'm hoping others have more insights on whether such a thing exists and if so where to find it!

SystemExplorer‭ You can set up Firefox the other way around: always delete cookies but make exceptions for some sites. That's the normal use-case I would think.
