"No associated Stack Exchange site from which to transfer your content?"

At the bottom of my profile page, there's a section labeled "Link with Stack Exchange," but it says

You can't link a Stack Exchange account to your account on this site because there is no associated Stack Exchange site from which to transfer your content.

Wouldn't that be https://superuser.com/ ? If not, why not? If so, can this functionality be added? Or, if not adding it is a deliberate choice, can the current misleading message be replaced by a clearer one?

Yeah, fixing that is on the to-do list. When we started we thought there'd be a lot more data import; we've now learned that bulk imports are a bad idea. I'd like to have a place for people to put an SE link, alongside Twitter, Discord, etc, purely as information, but we should adjust that current SE-connection stuff in light of changed ideas about import.
