I just want to respond to comments like this. That cross posting wasn't mine. I had never heard of solveforum.com before!

I agree completely with your paras. 3 and 4. Henceforward, I shall reasonably endeavor and effort to reference — on Codidact — cross posts by me. I apologize for not doing so far. But I cannot be responsible for scrapers as in elgonzo's comment.

And I didn't know imgur can be blocked!

  1. [. . .] I asked you several times if you are the same user, the only time I got an answer you stated that you are not the same user.

I never stated that I never cross posted on other websites though. For that particular question — but I can't remember which one now — I might not have been that same user?

  1. Your post feels one sided. You don't moot any advantages of "cross posting".

An unanswered question may be answered, or answered better on another. What about second opinions?

Do you mean that you are not the author of the post at Solveforums or are you additionally suggesting that it is a mere coincidence that the first paragraphs are identical to the ones you have written here and thus you have not copied it?

Quasímodo‭ It's not just the first paragraphs; the whole question appears to be identical, including imgur image IDs and link targets.

Solveforum scrapes questions from superuser.com. (And yes, VLDR x-posted their question both on powerusers.codidact.com as well as superuser.com.)

But either way, why are we even discussing this here? Imo, if VLDR has a desire or reason to respond to a comment, they should better write a comment response to the comment they are referring to, not create a meta post. ¯\(ツ)
