How to mark a folder as the destination for pasting in ranger?

−0

In ranger, I am often copying a bunch of files from one folder to another. Currently I do it like this:

  • Select files with Space
  • Cut with F6
  • Navigate to the destination folder
  • Paste with pp

This is tedious when I am actually moving over files in multiple batches, or from multiple different locations. Can I mark a folder as the "destination" so that pasting would send files there automatically, without having to move back and forth between folders?

In Vifm that would be easy.

noremap <F6> :!mv %f /destdir/<CR>

Would make F6 move the selected files to /destdir/. Maybe Ranger has something similar?
