Tag hierarchies

What is the tag hierarchy vision for Power User? I see nested OS versions under a main tag, but I was curious whether any of these made sense to nest as well:

  • web-browsers

    • firefox, microsoft-edge, etc.
  • Some new tag for MS Office

    • microsoft-word, microsoft-excel, etc.
    • microsoft-outlook (with synonymized outlook)?
      • microsoft-outlook-2016?
    • outlook-on-the-web?
  • Some new tag for Google G-Suite

  • Others?

I feel like there isn't a lot of point to trying to design this sort of thing up front or have a "vision" for it. New software releases are unpredictable, and organizing tags at that level of detail doesn't seem to accomplish much when there are still so few questions anyway. I definitely appreciate the value of being forward-looking, but this seems excessive to me.
