Can I "multi-etch" boot media?
A couple of years ago when I installed Linux, I followed some instructions to get an "etching" tool to load an ISO onto removable media for a live boot - in my case, a 4GB microSD card. It worked fine; the ISO took up a bit more than half the available space, and by plugging it in to USB via an adapter, I've been able to live boot multiple different computers from it.
Now I'm thinking about messing around with other distros. Looking around my collection of SD and microSD cards, there aren't a lot that I can spare and also am confident could be successfully written to. But the ones that do meet that bar, are a lot bigger than 4GB - perhaps 32 (which , I suppose, is still modest by today's standards).
Is there some way I can store multiple ISOs on the same card, and choose which one is used for a live boot? If not, why not?
