Preventing MediaWiki from serving webpages with index.php and its query string/s, not from webserver
By default, MediaWiki serves webpages with index.php and at least one query string but I want to prevent this so to have "short URLs" (my URLs are already quite long due to the site being in Hebrew and webpage names are long encoded in the URL).
I have found ways to prevent this behavior via Apache PCRE in .htaccess
but I would prefer a PHP way if there is one.
How to prevent MediaWiki from serving webpages with index.php and its query string/s, but not from webserver (i.e. via PHP)?
