  • Just updated Windows (2022-06-17, version Windows 10 Pro 21H2) and now there's an eye-catching, ugly icon in the taskbar, which graphics suggests that Windows' intended target audience is children and/or designers of congratulations cards:
  • ![Image alt text](https://powerusers.codidact.com/uploads/MjtjsNGQC6ZuKcv7zViRQ819)
  • Hoovering with the mouse suggests that "trending" things for me are 3 different pdf with gibberish names, some datasheets I have opened up in the past days... clicking on them opens up a web mail client that I never use, rather than my installed and preferred mail client (which happens to be Microsoft Outlook).
  • This is completely useless and feature that makes me embarrassed on Microsoft's behalf. How do I turn it off?

Hoovering with the mouse suggests that "trending" things for me are 3 different pdf with gibberish names, some datasheets I have opened up in the past days...

This is completely useless and feature that makes me embarrassed on Microsoft's behalf. How do I turn it off?
