- Just updated Windows (2022-06-17, version Windows 10 Pro 21H2) and now there's an eye-catching, ugly icon in the taskbar, which graphics suggests that Windows' intended target audience is children and/or designers of congratulations cards:

- Hoovering with the mouse suggests that "trending" things for me are 3 different pdf with gibberish names, some datasheets I have opened up in the past days... clicking on them opens up a web mail client that I never use, rather than my installed and preferred mail client (which happens to be Microsoft Outlook).
This is completely useless and feature that makes me embarrassed on Microsoft's behalf. How do I turn it off?

How to get rid of the ugly search icon rolled out in today's Windows 10/11 update?
