example.com is among the domains reserved by RFC 2606 for example purposes; please use those instead of someone's actual registered domain name
  • I accidentally moved folder _De_ under folder _Laun_ in Thunderbird's folder side bar:
  • ![De folder is a sub-folder of Laun, which is on the same level as Archive](https://powerusers.codidact.com/uploads/Xb3oberrGVnAKyfyEQ66pmrR)
  • How can I move _De_ back to the same level as _Laun_ and _Archive_?
  • If I drag it and release it just between the other two, nothing happens.
  • If I right click it and enter the properties dialog, the location field is not editable:
  • imap://foo%40bar.com@.bar.com/Laun/De

Move folder one level up on Thunderbird
I accidentally moved folder _De_ under folder _Laun_ in Thunderbird's folder side bar:

![De folder is a sub-folder of Laun, which is on the same level as Archive](https://powerusers.codidact.com/uploads/Xb3oberrGVnAKyfyEQ66pmrR)

How can I move _De_ back to the same level as _Laun_ and _Archive_?

If I drag it and release it just between the other two, nothing happens.

If I right click it and enter the properties dialog, the location field is not editable:

    imap://foo%40bar.com@.bar.com/Laun/De
