The first step is knowing how to select non-adjacent text. 1. Apply a unique style to the text in interest that appears nowhere else in the doc (e.g., bold, underline, and italicize it). 2. Right-click on a single word in the text with the special style applied and under the **Format options** sub-menu, choose **Select all matching text**. Now that you have these non-adjacent sections selected, you can add a comment (or any formatting for that matter).
