Measure distance in pixels on screen

I'd like to draw a rectangle on the screen and get the dimensions in pixels of that rectangle. A bit like a ruler in order to measure the distance on screen.

I'm using Sway version 1.8 on Arch Linux 5.19.9.

One way to do this is using slurp and its -d option.
