- Go to the main Settings. On my machine at least, there is an option called Gaming. Try going there and shutting off everything you can.
Yes, it's annoying when nagware defaults to on.

- Go thru all the settings carefully and decide each one individually. For example, on my Win 10 machine there is a separate section of settings just for "Xbox Game Bar".
