Clicking on Tags, among other tags, I see [microsoft-excel] x 7, but clicking on [microsoft-excel], I don't see any questions.

What does that number seven next to [microsoft-excel] mean on the Tags page?

There are several deleted questions with that tag, so I'm guessing that the tags page is reporting the number of all questions instead of all visible questions. It shouldn't do that; thanks for the bug report.

Update 2024-01-24: this bug is now fixed. The tags list counts only visible posts, not deleted ones.
