Does Thunderbird support Maildir?
I want to use a local folder in the Maildir format with Thunderbird. I have other programs set up that bring mail to this folder, I just need Thunderbird to view and sort them.
I found https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/maildir-thunderbird which sounds like the support is very half baked and will destroy my precious emails. But it's also from 5 years ago.
Does Thunderbird support Maildir? Does it work well?
