i am facing the same difficulty as https://superuser.com/questions/1896861/how-can-i-use-power-query-to-import-many-monthly-excel-files-into-1-excel-file?noredirect=1&lq=1. as it got wrongly closed as duplicate, i repost it here. thanks!

I watched this YouTube video in which the user (Kenji) united all 3 Excel files into 1 Excel file, on the same sheet:

Easily combine multiple excel sheets into one with this trick

Which is nice but not quite what I'm after. I'm wondering how I can tweak this to unite 3 Excel files into 1 Excel file, but on 3 DIFFERENT sheets? i.e. I want a separate sheet on each month.

It's unproductive to manually insert hundreds of separate Excel files as sheets one at a time - for every month of securities transactions for past decades.

I'd like to avoid solutions involving Python or VBA if possible.
