After this question was asked, there was another one that received an [answer](https://powerusers.codidact.com/posts/286102/286111#answer-286111) that is currently +6/-0 and argues against crossposts. Based on activity since then, it seems clear that at the very least this community does not want *undeclared* crossposts; it's less clear what the community wants to do about cases where the question links to the other copies of the question on other sites. Recently we have deleted some questions that were: - crossposts without links, and - downvoted, and - not answered by other community members For crossposts that had answers from others, links were edited into the questions. This is what was done to handle a recent situation. I'm posting this "status report" answer to bump the question so the community can review and refine. How *do* you want to handle crossposts, with and without links?
