- I have an external disk, which I only use once per day for a couple of minutes. For reasons, I don't want to keep the disk always mounted, so I have a script, which automatically mounts the disk, does its thing and then unmounts the disk. The cable stays plugged in.
- In the past, this worked perfectly fine. Even if the computer went to sleep, the disk would stay unmounted after wake up. However since the update to macOS 26.4, the disk will automatically be mounted when the computer wakes up from sleep. Is there any way to avoid this?
