How do I make Xbox stop telling me that I have a free game pass on Windows 10?

On my Lenovo Legion, every single time I boot up Windows 10, I get confronted by an Xbox app popping up and telling me that I have a free game pass or something and to log in to claim it. Every time, I just close it and ignore it; I know nothing about Xbox, have no intention of learning anything about Xbox, and don't want to see it.

I haven't been using Windows often enough to really care about it, but it's been months now and every time I happen to boot up Windows for something I'm confronted with this Xbox app popping up.

I'm not super familiar with anything to do with Windows (I've been using Ubuntu for a very long time), and I don't want to create an Xbox account or anything.

How do I make it stop?

I have Windows 10 but don't have this problem. That may be because the first thing I did when I got the machine was to go thru all the settings I could find, and shut off anything I didn't want.

Go to the main Settings. On my machine at least, there is an option called Gaming. Try going there and shutting off everything you can.

Yes, it's annoying when nagware defaults to on.

This sounds like it'll disable all gaming functionality entirely, which slightly defeats the purpose of a gaming laptop.

Go thru all the settings carefully and decide each one individually. For example, on my Win 10 machine there is a separate section of settings just for "Xbox Game Bar".

I do sometimes play something through Steam; I just have no interest in Xbox specifically. This sounds like it'll disable all gaming functionality entirely, which slightly defeats the purpose of a gaming laptop. Also, I'm pretty sure the free Xbox thing is specifically for the Legion.
