How can I heighten the Security window?
Dr. Olin Lathrop alleged
Both the pictures in your question are links into Microsoft's domain, and are therefore used here without attribution. This post needs to be deleted due to gross intellectual property violations. -1 and flagging for moderator attention.
A random screenshot from a microsoft forum (without giving credit to the creator!) does not tell us anything about your account!
samcarter "Closed as not constructive" How can I heighten the Security window?.
I am wildered by all this fault finding that feels iffy.
- Dr. Lathrop appears wrong about "are therefore used here without attribution". I have no clue how Dr. Lathrop appears to have overlooked both ways to check attribution.
1.1. Unquestionably, I wrote the original links to Microsoft in my post. I thus attributed.
1.2. If you hover over screen shots, you can clearly see the screen shot links to Microsoft.

samcarter appears wrong, because samcarter does not distinguish relevance from irrelevance. These are not "random screenshot"! These screenshots share the same RELEVANT details as pop ups from my computers. There is no basis, or point, to spend hours screen shotting myself, when others faced same glitches and already screen shot!

I feel that many users here scorn me and my questions. If this is true, then please just tell me upfront, rather than nit picking my posts. I admit I am computer challenged. I apologize.

Since the question is now deleted, I cannot verify that claim, but assuming it is true: Do you see how that is not enough to qualify as attribution? It is hidden after all. Tooltips are meant for a description of what the picture is about, in the case someone is blind or cannot render it. Imagine if all the attributions on the web were actually a comment in the HTML source; in a sense they would be in the webpage, but would never be rendered to the readers.
I think a useful rule of thumb for your future questions is: Suppose that your question on is printed on paper.
- If you see no attribution on the paper, then it is missing.
- If you cannot understand the question because you cannot click a link — since it is paper —, then it is not clear. (Links are great, though, for supplementary information.)

This if flat-out wrong. Here is all the text in the post you reference:
I actioned all these steps to Take Ownership of my Drive D, like adding Everyone to permissions and choosing "Never notify me when" in User Account Control.
Thus why am I still thwarted by this pop up below?
My account is already "Administrator".
That's your entire post minus the pictures. There is no attribution anywhere, and the images themselves don't contain any either. You are presenting other people's work as your own. You should be suspended at this point, since this was explained to you before and you were warned here.

You are the one asking, so are not in a position to judge what is relevant. We don't want to waste time only to discover later that the problem is quite different due to some detail you didn't think mattered. Put another way, anyone who doesn't know the answer to the question can't be trusted to know what clues are relevant.

Hours? Seriously!!? Getting an image of the screen onto the clipboard is a single key stroke. From there it's simple to paste that into your favorite image editor, clip off everything that isn't the window you want to show, and write the result to an image file. This shouldn't take more than a minute or two. If it really takes you hours, then learn how to do it more efficiently, or don't post here.

It's not about you, but the quality of your posts. You have a history of asking questions that are hard to read, don't follow intellectual property rules, and reference pertinent information in links. You often don't respond to feedback, or take days to do so. When you do, it's usually about arguing how the feedback is wrong instead of correcting your actions accordingly. In the process, you come across as arrogant and entitled.
In short, you've abused the site and pissed off a lot of users here. Of course they aren't giving you slack anymore or the benefit of the doubt. Now people are just going to roll their eyes and be quick the the -1 unless you happen to write something really stellar. You brought this on yourself.
Personally, I think your posts should be rate limited. With your current rep of -82, that would allow you one post every 82 days, or about every 2½ months. Seems about right.
