Welcome to the Power Users community on Codidact!

Power Users is a Q&A site for questions about the usage of computer software and hardware. We are still a small site and would like to grow, so please consider joining our community. We are looking forward to your questions and answers; they are the building blocks of a repository of knowledge we are building together.

"No associated Stack Exchange site from which to transfer your content?"

At the bottom of my profile page, there's a section labeled "Link with Stack Exchange," but it says

You can't link a Stack Exchange account to your account on this site because there is no associated Stack Exchange site from which to transfer your content.

Wouldn't that be https://superuser.com/ ? If not, why not? If so, can this functionality be added? Or, if not adding it is a deliberate choice, can the current misleading message be replaced by a clearer one?

You are accessing this answer with a direct link, so it's being shown above all other answers regardless of its score. You can return to the normal view.

We have now removed that section on the profile edit page on communities that don't use imported posts. You should now see it only if you could successfully add a link.

Their is no way to import content from Stack Exchange sites in the meantime.

You can only claim existing imported content (and Power User didn't import any content). And likely, there will no way to import content in the future.

Imported content will harm Codidact than benefitting it. It is better to start a new fresh original content better than importing content from others site.

It will also harm the SEO of Codidact, since Codidact just copy rather than making new content.

Their is many imported content in Codidact Writing, and I am sorry to say, the site is a dead dessert. So, Importing content will only harm. Just start a fresh content.
