I've updated the question to include headers of a (legitimate) message that arrived at my domain (D) but never arrived at Gmail. Interestingly, it's from another Gmail user, and when I replied to the message (from my domain), the other person did get my message.
I use a paid hosting provider and ... (more) |

Oh, I agree they can't tell us everything, because no one wants to publish a playbook for spammers. I just meant that I've checked all the things I know about from other discussions of email handling, mail isn't being blocked anywhere else that I know of, and Google does not answer support requests ... Question | — |
How do I stop Gmail from silently dropping legitimate email? I have a domain and now use it for my primary email address. In addition to depositing mail in that mailbox, this address also currently forwards to my Gmail account. (Yes I know, and I want to relocate 20+ years of saved email, but not today.) I set up the forwarding using the CPanel "Forwarders"... (more) |

I second what Art said. It might be better to ask what files must be on C, rather than asking about a program to detect ones that don't. (more) |

Yikes. What was Apple thinking?? That's a terrible place to put that option.
I mean ok, I see what's happening -- object-specific options first (of which there are now two), then general "inspection" (etc) ones, then copy (and paste if contextual), then (I assume) some add-ins... but it's still ... (more) |

A: How do I change to a new email address for Google Groups subscriptions? > Do I first have to somehow connect it with my Google account (how?) and then Groups will know about it That turned out to be the key. After a lot of poking around, I went to "Manage your Google Account" (from the user avatar on any Google site), then "Personal Information", then "Contact info",... (more) |

Question | — |
How do I change to a new email address for Google Groups subscriptions? I am subscribed to several Google Groups (email lists). I want to change the address where I receive that email, preferably without having to unsubscribe and resubscribe for each list. (Some lists are private/moderated, so that would entail some extra work.) According to this documentation, I ca... (more) |

@#36377 thanks for the link. Now that you mention it, I have seen `co.il` too. I hadn't realized how many others there are. (more) |

Thank you! I've started this process (they say it will take some time). I have no idea how they verify that the account holder is making the request, but I have access to his iCloud password, email, and phone, all gates I had to pass through in order to make the request in the first place, so here'... Question | — |
How do I download everything stored in iCloud? I am trying to handle the digital affairs of a departed family member. The person had an iCloud account, which I am able to log into (I have the password and the 2FA device). There's about 40G of data stored there, only some of it backups from his Apple devices. I am looking for a way to download ... (more) |

I wouldn't have thought of Selenium (which I've heard of but not used), so thanks for that. (And yes, I'm self-hosting, so I don't need to worry about angry admins.) (more) |

I'll edit to clarify. I'm not asking for help on the scripting part; in fact, I've already transformed that spreadsheet into suitable blocks of markdown source. I'm just asking about the DokuWiki side of actually getting those pages (with the needed metadata) into the wiki. (more) |

Question | — |
How can I do a one-time data import to DokuWiki to create many pages? I am new to DokuWiki and have done the basic setup for a private wiki. I want to use it as an alternative to a spreadsheet I've been using to track my ratings and other notes for a category of products. (The spreadsheet hasn't been workable for me on my phone.) I am creating pages, one per specific ... (more) |

Question | — |
How can I disable channel drag and drop in Discord? When using Discord in a web browser, on a server where I have admin privileges, I sometimes find that I've accidentally moved a channel, which affects everyone on the server and can affect channel permissions, so that's bad. You move channels by clicking and dragging, but apparently the interface is... (more) |

Question | — |
What does this suspicious URL structure do? I (well, my spam trap) received email that I know is a scam, but I'm trying to understand how it works. The message contains a URL of the following form: https:/example.com:2096/?gotoapp=SomethingWithoutAnExtension The single `/` after the protocol is suspicious, and I assume the key to a ... (more) |

I found `git` questions both here and there, and this felt like more of a "user" question than a "programmer" question to me. (I mean, I use git to back my blog, too... but that's not the repo with the bug I'm trying to find, to be fair.) It would fit fine on either community, I think. (more) |

Question | — |
How can I filter GitHub commits by date range, in a friendlier way than git log? We have a repository hosted on GitHub. I'm trying to track down a bug and have narrowed the date range for when it could have been introduced. I would like to easily review commits in that date range, and ideally I'd like to get other team members to help in this review. I know that from the com... (more) |

How can I transmit my current location to someone else's phone? My partner and are are sometimes in the position of trying to find each other in a large or crowded space (like a convention center, or if one of us is driving to pick up the other somewhere). We both have phones; it would be great if I could have mine send my location to his (or vice versa) so that... (more) |

A: What technical steps can I take to reduce Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) and discomfort from heavy computer use? Mouse usage is a big factor (and was the culprit for my tendonitis). Learning the keyboard shortcuts for your most common operations means not having to jump to the mouse so often. Remember the arrow and page up/down keys, too. Unless you're hardcore, though, you won't get away from the mouse en... (more) |
